The M Awards + Champions for Kids
Finally, the winners of the #2016Mawards have been released!
In case you missed it - GoodX teamed up with Mission Inc. Athletes, including Serena Williams, David Villa, Dwyane Wade, Carli Lloyd, and others, to spotlight high school student-athletes who give back to their communities with The M Awards.
Coming in with the Gold is Keeley Scott, a senior from New York who plays lacrosse and tennis. She has graciously chosen to donate her $5,000 grant from MISSION to The Andy Foundation, which is a high school program that helps organize fundraisers to raise money for children’s charities.
Check out her video:
The Silver M Award goes to Chase Herof, football player from Georgia, who is donating his $2,500 grant to the Make a Wish Foundation, giving children with life threatening illnesses a once in a lifetime opportunity to fulfill their dream.
And last but not least, the Bronze M Award goes to Matthew Wilson, a football player from Alabama, who has chosen to send his $1,000 grant to the Alabama Branch of the International Dyslexia Association, in honor of his younger brother.
Each of these students sets an example of excellence on the field and off, with their dedication and heart for their communities. Way to go!
Thanks to YOUR help by sharing about the #2016Mawards, $2,500 was "unlocked" to Champions for Kids, an organization that provides homeless high school students with the resources and community they need.
THANK YOU for helping make this a Good Exchange :)
